About
Zal and the Phoenix is a fantasy story adaptation for children and families, of a tale from the celebrated Persian poet Abul-Qâsem Ferdowsi's epic book, the Shahnameh ("Book of Kings"). An enchanting, magical, adventure story about an albino boy, prince Zal and a mythical bird, the Phoenix. The story contains a powerful message of acceptance and friendship in the face of prejudice, as relevant today as it was 1000 years ago.
